A Time To A Kill: Has the south really changed that much. Black man Carl Lee Hailey’s 12 years old daughter has been raped and murdered by a couple of racist teenage thugs. Carl takes justice into his own hands and kills the two thugs before they are tried. Now racial tensions are very taught as he is put on trial for killing these thugs.
Spider Man: The comic book classic is brought to the big screen. Orphaned at a young age, peter Parker us living a mundane life in Queens New York with his aunt and uncle. While on a science class field trip, Peter was bitten by a genetically altered spider. Then, strange things start happening to him. He has strength and skills beyond his imagination. The end result is that Peter will become a new super hero, Spider Man.
Traffic: This movie is about America’s war on drugs. The new drug czar has a daughter who is a drug addict. The boarder police are often corrupt. Nothing is what it seems to be.
Star Trek: Insurrection: The Ba’ku live on a planet with special powers, it is like a fountain of youth. Learning of this planet’s magic powers, Starfleet leaders want to access this ‘gold mine of a planet’ for there own uses. Jean-Luc Picard, and the Enterprise crew must choose to obey the order, and force the Ba’ku to leave, or disobey Starfleet, and fight to save the planet for the Ba’ku.
Dick Tracy: Big Boy Caprice and his mob are wreaking havoc on the streets of Chicago. Add to that, a loyal girlfriend, an orphan needing his help, being seduced by the sultry Breathless Mahoney, and a new threat in town know as the Blank, and you can see that Dick Tracy is a very busy man. It will take all his powers to save the city.
Entrapment: Robert MacDougal is considered the best art thief in the world. Gin Baker, an insurance investigator is sent to try and catch, or entrap, Mr. MacDougal and save the company the $24 million they stand to lose. Instead of catching him, she winds up joining forces with him as they try to pull of an even bigger heist.
For quite a while now we all have used the internet for music downloads. With improvements in internet speeds, and other advancements, it is now possible for movies to be downloaded as readily as music. Movie downloads just might be the wave of the future.
